ABOUT SEW CAYMAN
Sew Cayman is a charming sewing and craft studio, brought to life by the creative spirit of Danielle Lennon. I am dedicated to creating and selling unique, handcrafted products, which you can find at local markets and festivals across the island, proudly operating under the umbrella of the esteemed Cayman Islands Visual Arts Society.
I grew up in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada, where my journey into the arts became a lifelong love affair, beginning almost as soon as I could hold a crayon. I have been wonderfully "crafty" since childhood, always finding joy in making something beautiful. At the tender age of 10, I received guidance from my mom and began my sewing adventure. By 18, my talent was so recognized that I was teaching a sewing class at my high school, all while earning top grades in Art and Interior Design classes—a testament to my innate flair for design.

Though I studied Land Use Planning at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, I never left my creative passion behind. My academic pursuits in land development and design in Alberta, Canada, alongside family enterprise advising, simply helped me refine my keen eye for detail, quality, and structure.
A true believer in the power of the arts, I lovingly taught both my daughters sewing, painting, and creating masterpieces, instilling in them the same passion and creativity that guides my work. Carol and Emma are now both amazing artists and often craft alongside me .
Since moving to the Cayman Islands in 2022 with my family, I have found the perfect place to share my beautiful sewing and art with both the local community and the many visitors who come from around the world. Every piece from Sew Cayman is made with genuine care and expertise, making it a truly special addition to your home or a thoughtful gift.

Profits from our sales support local Caymanian charities.
